Please note that the dates list on the Shropshire Council website may differ from our dates calendar as schools set their own PD Days in addition to the generic dates set by the council. All maintained schools are open 190 days for pupils and 195 days for staff – staff work 5 training days (also known as INSET or PD days) in addition to the 190 pupil-facing days each year.
